Ty's Party/ Halloween

My mom, my brother Ty, My sister Kristin, Bro-in-law Dan, and my two nieces all came into town for the weekend. The day before Halloween is my brother Ty's birthday. We threw him a party. I must say that I had a GREAT time planning a Halloween themed birthday party. It was awesome having everyone together.

Halloween:

Brody dressed up as a monkey.

Although Halloween is our favorite holiday because we love to dress up, we didn't have the time or money to plan awesome costumes. Instead we threw together costumes from what we already had in about five minutes before our Halloween party. Here is what we came up with:

Matt-white trash
Me-Boy Scout
Brandon-well...I'm not sure, Kevin Federline?

Some of our friends at the party.

Brody went trick or treating with his cousins.

He LOVED trick or treating.

How cute are they?

My growing belly

So I haven't posted in a while mainly because of my horrible internet. It goes in and out all the time. Usually I barely have enough connection to check my email and that's it. It is finally working so here it is. My belly at 20 weeks. I hate pictures of my self, however I do regret not taking any pictures of my belly with Brody. We had the 20 week ultrasound and everything looks great. I am so excited to meet this little boy!

It's a BOY!

We found out yesterday that we're having another boy! I am so excited and relieved because the thought of a girl overwhelmed me. Another boy means I can re-use all of Brody's clothing. However I am beginning to feel a bit out numbered. Hopefully a girl will come around someday. Belly pics are to come.

Don't get mad, take a picture.

My friend once told me, "don't get mad, take a picture"

This first popped into my head after realizing why Brody had been saying "ball" while eating dinner. I looked up to find his ball covered in spaghetti.

After taking the picture, my spout of rage had subsided and I was able to laugh about the situation.

Case #2, The Go-Gurt. Here, Brody is rubbing it all over his legs.

Case #3, Pancakes. Here Brody is running his syrup filled fingers through his hair. If you look closely you'll even see chunks of pancakes stuck to his face and hair.

I'm glad my friend told me this because it has allowed me to stay calm and laugh about the crazy things my toddler does.

Baby #2!!!

We are excited to announce that I am pregnant! I am twelve weeks along. I had a doctor's appointment today, and we heard the heart beat which means miscarriage rate is down to 1%! In the doctor's words he said "we've got a keeper!" The baby is due March 28th. It's true what they say, the second one pops out a lot sooner. I can't believe how big my stomach is already! My brother Matt said to me "wow, you've gotta kangaroo pouch, a little joey is in there." Oh well, it's all worth it in the end, I can't wait to meet this baby!

Marsha and Scott's wedding

Brandon's older sister Marsha got married on Aug. 29th (I know I'm slow at blogging). We had a lot of family in town and we had a lot of wedding related festivities. I have narrowed them down to four major events. Girls night out, Airport/Red Iguana, Family BBQ, and Wedding day.

Girls night out

Thursday night (a few days before the wedding) all the girls got together and had dinner at ZTejas. I LOVE ZTejas so I was pretty excited we went there. Marsha, Abbie (her daughter), Brandon and I had gone there a few days prior, they liked it so much they decided to have girls night there. It was a lot of fun to spend time with my sisters-in-law, and meet Scott's mom, daughters, and sister.

Since the girls had girls night, all of the guys went golfing the next day. I don't have any pictures from that.

Airport/Red Iguana

On Friday, we picked up Brent, Brack, and Scott from the airport. (The last in the family to arrive.) Here is a picture at the airport, it's not all the kids but it is most of them.

After the airport we ate at Red Iguana in Salt Lake, it has been featured on The Food Network's "Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives", so we had to check it out. It was delicious, I got the special that day which was Mango Enchiladas. They were soooo good!

My sister-in-law took this picture, I had no idea it was being taken. Apparently I thought something was pretty funny. I'm not surprised because the Voyles family is hilarious!

After Red Iguana we toured Starfish, Brenda and John's television network. Here are all the kids in birth order. Here is goes from left to right:

Brenda, Cindy, Marsha, Brack, Brian, Brent, and Brandon.

Family BBQ

The night before the wedding we had a family BBQ with both Scott's and Marsha's families. It was at Scott's brother's house. The wedding colors were hot pink and black. Here are some pictures from the BBQ.

Wedding Day

Scott and Marsha were sealed in the Salt Lake temple. The ceremony was beautiful. They were both so happy they were glowing! Our friends Braydon and Mikki took their wedding pictures, I can't wait to see how they turned out!!

The reception was in the Joseph Smith Memorial building. The view of the temple was amazing! The food was incredible too!

Brody looked like a little business man in his tie playing with the phone at the desk. This was taken in the bridal room, it was a room that we had all to ourselves to put purses in, go to the bathroom...etc.

Lake Powell 2009

We went to Lake Powell again this year. We stayed on Brenda and John's amazing house boat.
We had fun spending time with family. It was really awesome to bring Matt this year too. Brody loved the water and the boat. Here he is watching the "wa-wa". (water)

Brody and Avery were great friends, it was so cute.

I love all the beautiful red rock in Lake Powell.

We did a little wake boarding as well. My personal favorite part of the trip!
